MCC NEET PG 2023: Seat Allotment Result Tomorrow at mcc.nic.in; Eligibility Criteria

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) round 3 results will be released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) tomorrow, September 28. On the official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates who enrolled for MCC NEET PG counselling 2023 can use the option locking feature.
After the NEET PG cut-off was lowered to zero for all categories, the registration window for round three of NEET PG counselling was reopened. Candidates, academics, medical organisations, and political leaders have all responded differently to this choice. Many referred to it as a “murder of merit.”
According to the updated timetable, the announcement of the NEET PG round 3 seat allocation results is slated on September 28. Between September 29 and October 6, candidates who have been given seats are required to report to the designated colleges. The 2023 NEET PG stray round counselling dates have also been released. Beginning on October 9, candidates can register for the NEET PG stray round and choice filling.

NEET 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidate eligibility requirements for NEET 2024 include age, minimum score requirements, and nationality. Candidates must carefully review the eligibility requirements listed below before submitting an application for the NEET test.
NEET Age Limit 2023
- Candidates must have reached the age of 17 before December 31, 2024, under the NEET 2024 Age Limit. Age eligibility for NEETs is unrestricted.
12th Grade NEET Eligibility Marks
- For general category/EWS applicants, class 10+2 in PCB and English from a recognised board requires a minimum of 50% marks.
- Candidates from the reserved category who earned 40% in PCB may apply for the test.
- Candidates are still eligible even if they choose biology as an elective.
Attempts at NEET
- A candidate may take the NEET exam as many times as they like. Candidates who are 17 years of age or older may submit as many NEET attempts as they choose, providing they meet all other qualifying requirements.
Eligibility for NEET: Nationality
Indian citizens may apply to take the test.
Foreign nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and OCIs are also permitted to take the test.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced the list of medical schools to which the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) has granted permission to add MBBS and PG medical seats for the academic year 2023–2024 in the most recent update. To increase openness in seat reporting, the medical colleges will be prohibited from inputting data starting the next academic year.
The only test available to applicants who want to become doctors is NEET 2024. Candidates must take the NEET in order to be considered for admission to several of India’s top universities, like AIIMS, JIPMER, etc. No other exam is acceptable for enrollment in medical programmes. Candidates who pass the NEET exam are then able to enrol in the following programmes:
- Medical – MBBS, Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery
- Dental – BDS, Bachelor of Dental Surgery
- Ayurvedic – BAMS, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
- Ayurvedic – BUMS, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery
- Ayurvedic – BHMS, Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery
- Ayurvedic – BSMS, Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery
- Nursing – B.Sc Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Veterinary – BVSc & AH, Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
NEET Marking Scheme 2023
According to the NEET 2024 scoring system, applicants receive 4 points for each answer that is accurate and lose 1 point for each answer that is incorrect. For questions that are not answered, neither points nor points are taken away.
