MCC Extends Choice Filling Dates
NEET UG 2022 Counselling has been started. NEET UG Counseling choice filling dates have been extended till today, November 9, 2022.
The decision to reopen the choice filling has been extended after several emails were received by the competent authority. The choice locking will be made available from 3 pm on November 9, 2022, up to November 9, 2022.
NEET UG counselling 2022 Round 2 choice filling and locking deadline has been extended by a day, till November 9, 11.55 pm. The original deadline was November 8. According to MCC, the choice filing process has been extended due to multiple emails and requests by participants. The registration process commenced on November 3, a day later than the original schedule of November 2. MCC has not announced any further change in the dates of the NEET 2022 Round 2 counselling. Candidates participating in Round 2 of NEET counselling willing to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI have to send the requisite documents to MCC via email (ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com) between November 3, 5 pm to November 5, 10 AM. The choice-filling process started from November 4 and will end on November 8 and the choice locking window will be active on November 8, from 3 pm to 8 pm. MCC reopened the seat resignation window of Round 1 till November 2, 7 pm. As per the schedule, the last date for registration is November 7, but there is a chance that this date will be extended. MCC has added 156 seats for the Round 2 counselling.
As per the official notice, “MCC of DGHS is in response to several Emails to reopen the choice filling. Hence it is decided by the competent authority to extend the schedule up to 09.11.2022. The Choice Filling extended up to 11:55 P.M of 09.11.2022. Choice Locking will be made available from 03:00 P.M of 9th November 2022 up to 11:55 P.M of 09.11.2022.”
Earlier, the last date for choice filling was till November 8, 2022. The processing of seat allotment is made from November 9 to November 10, 2022. The result will be announced on November 11, 2022. Candidates can report to the allotted colleges from November 12 to November 18, 2022.
How to Do Choice Filling Process of NEET UG 2022 Counselling
Candidates will have to follow the below steps to fill choices for NEET UG counselling 2022:
1. Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the Login tab and enter the User ID and Password.
3. Click on the link ‘Available Choices’.
4. On clicking the “Choice Filling” icon, the choices as per individual criteria of eligibility would be displayed to the candidate on the left side basket and on clicking the button for the required choice, it will be selected. The choice chosen will be removed from the left basket and gets added to the right basket.
5. Candidates will have to click on the ‘Save & Continue tab.
6. Candidates may change the order of preference of choices by clicking on the Upper Arrow ./button to move up, Down Arrow button to move down and delete button to delete the pre-selected choice of institutes.
7. The choice Interchange (Swapping) could be carried out by selecting appropriate choices as source and destination to enable their swapping and reorder all the choices.
8. If a candidate desires to delete a specific or a group of choices, the candidate can click the appropriate box, for deletion of the one choice. Further, if the candidate desires to delete multiple choices, in one go, he/she can click the appropriate boxes for deletion and confirm the same, so that all unwanted choices could be deleted by this operation.
