New Delhi : The All India Management Association (AIMA) has announced the start of online registrations for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) February 2025 session.
With a 35+ year legacy, MAT, approved by the Ministry of Education (Govt. of India) serves as a gateway to 20,000+ prestigious MBA/PGDM seats in reputed B-schools across India including: School of Business and Management, CHRIST (Deemed to be University, Bengaluru) PSG Institute of Management (Coimbatore), Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (Kochi), SSN School of Management (Chennai), Dr D Y Patil B School (Pune), Delhi School of Business (VIPS-TC, New Delhi), New Delhi Institute of Management (New Delhi), National Institute of Technology, (Kurukshetra), National Institute of Technology (Jalandhar) and Calcutta Business School (Kolkata).
The MAT February will be held in both Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT) modes.
Key Dates for MAT February 2025:
- PBT Registration Deadline: 2 March 2025
- PBT Exam Date: 9 March 2025
- CBT Registration Deadline: 9 March 2025
- CBT Exam Date: 23 March 2025
Candidates can check the complete schedule and apply at mat.aima.in. Results are expected to be available by the last week of March 2025 on the MAT portal.
Eligibility Criteria: Graduates in any discipline. Final-year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.
Application fee: The application fee for MAT February is ₹2100. Candidates can opt for an additional test mode by paying an extra fee of ₹1500.
MAT 2.0: A Modernized Exam Approach
Introduced in May 2024, MAT 2.0 is positioned as a new age test with sharper focus on assessing test taker’s skill, aptitude and knowledge. Introduction of the new section ‘Economic & Business Environment’ covers questions on current economic topics and technological interventions in businesses, making it the most relevant examination. Leaner & fitter MAT has 30 questions in each of the 5 sections, a total of 150 questions to be answered within 120 minutes.
