In-charge vice-chancellor of Mandya University, K Shivachithappa, stated on Thursday that the university has not received any formal communication from the govt regarding the proposed merger with the University of Mysore. Currently, over 20,000 students from 47 affiliated colleges are enrolled in various programmes at Mandya University.
