Maharashtra NEET UG counseling 2023 begins registration process from today, July 24; check the eligibility criteria

The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling registration process will begin today, July 24, according to the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra.
For admission to medical programmes in the state, eligible applicants can apply for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling on the recently opened website cetcell.net.in/NEET-UG-2023.
If you passed the NEET UG test, you can apply online to take part in the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling in 2023.
Candidates must fill up their course and college preferences during the Maharashtra NEET counselling process. Seats in MBBS and BDS will be filled in accordance with the choices made, NEET results, state merit ranking, choices made, reservation criteria, seat matrix, and other variables.

The following procedures are involved in the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling registration process:
- Online enrollment Visit the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra’s official website and select the NEET UG counselling registration link.
- By entering the necessary information, such as your NEET UG roll number, NEET UG score, and contact data, you can create a new account.
- After successfully registering, log in using the provided credentials to complete the application.
- Fill out the NEET UG counselling application form, making sure to include your contact information, academic background, and desired colleges and programmes.
- Verification of Documents: All required papers, including the NEET UG scorecard, the Class 10 and 12 grade transcripts, the NEET UG admission card, the category certificate (if applicable), and others, should be uploaded as scanned copies.
- Pay the necessary counselling cost using one of the many online payment methods that are offered.
Choice Filling and Locking: The candidate may continue by filling and locking their top college and course choices after the verification of their supporting documentation. Prioritising and locking the options is crucial before the deadline.
Seat Allocation Results: Based on the candidates’ preferences and merit rankings, the State Common Entrance Test Cell will announce the provisional seat allocation results.
Candidates who receive seats must report to the relevant colleges within the stipulated time limit for confirmation. They must satisfy the college’s entrance requirements, pay the relevant fees, and provide the required documentation for verification.
