Maharashtra NEET PG 2023 CAP-3 Postponed Due to MCC AIQ 3rd Round Counselling Delay
The timetable for Maharashtra NEET PG round three counselling in 2023 has been postponed until further notice by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. The delay in the MCC’s announcement of the NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) counselling round 3 results led to the decision to postpone the Maharashtra NEET PG Centralised Admission Process, CAP-round 3.
According to a statement made by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) yesterday, “further action for round-3 will be put up soon” on the website. On September 16, the MCC NEET PG round 3 seat allocation result for 2023 was supposed to be released; however, there was no update until September 19.
In the meantime, medical students began requesting a lower qualifying percentile for NEET PG for AIQ counselling. Doctors’ organisations have also written to the Union health minister asking him to take the NEET PG cut-off 2023 into consideration. On September 21, the Maharashtra NEET PG CAP-3 seat matrix was supposed to be released, and on September 23, the choice-filling procedure was supposed to begin.
The Competent Authority has decided to postpone the schedule for CAP Round – 3 of NEET-PG & NEET MDS 2023 until further notice due to the delay in the announcement of Round 3 of AIQ counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee, New Delhi, and in accordance with the schedule for State Counselling declared by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi.
The schedule for Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 has been cancelled, it was added. The forthcoming state NEET PG counselling new revised schedule will be shortly announced on the official website, cetcell.net.in/NEET-PGM-2023.
