According to the Ministry of Education:

“Honourable Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan is set to inaugurate the ‘Football for School (F4S) program’ today and distribute FIFA footballs at PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mundali, Cuttack”.

At PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mundali, Cuttack the nation is set to build up a new platform Football for school which is also known as the F4S program that is going to be the kick-off distribution of FIFA Football. 

Honourable Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan is set to inaugurate the ‘Football for School (F4S) program today. 

What is Football for Schools (F4S) program? 

The Football for Schools (F4S) program is meant to empower government schools by providing footballs and capacity-building programs and it is a collaboration between FIFA and UNESCO. Also the main motive of the  Football for Schools (F4S) program is to inspire children to learn life skills through football by following the main three objectives that are Education, Development, and Empowerment. 

On the FIFA Football For Schools mobile app the program’s capacity-building courses are based and not only this but also the Ministry of Education (MoE) has designated Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) as the Nodal Agency for the F4S Program.
