| Fishing Technology | i. Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) in Fisheries Engineering & Technology/ Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering. ii. Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science approved by ICAR. iii. ICAR/UGC/CSIR NET mandatory. iv. PhD in the relevant subject. |
| Fisheries Extension, Economics & Statistics | i. Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) in Fisheries Extension/ Fisheries Economics/ Fisheries Business Management/ MBA Agri-Business Management/ MFSc in any discipline with research experience in Fisheries Statistics. ii. Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science approved by ICAR. iii. ICAR/UGC/CSIR NET mandatory. iv. PhD in the relevant subject. |
Age Limit: As per UGC Guidelines
Salary Details:
- With NET/PhD:
- Rs. 1500/- per hour for theory sessions
- Rs. 750/- per hour for practical sessions
- Subject to a maximum of Rs. 3000/- per day and Rs. 50,000/- per month.
- Without NET/PhD:
- Rs. 1000/- per hour for theory sessions
- Rs. 500/- per hour for practical sessions
- Subject to a maximum of Rs. 2000/- per day and Rs. 32,000/- per month
