Process: After KCET Seat Allotment 2023
The colleges that have been assigned to candidates after the announcement of KCET 2023 seat allotment for a specific round must be checked and chosen by the candidates. They will proceed with admission if they are happy with the institute they were assigned, and if not, they will move on to the next round of KCET seat allocation. The numerous alternatives that the candidates have remaining are listed below:
First Choice – Acceptance of Seat: In the event that the applicant is content with the seat assigned and wishes to enrol in the programme, choice 1 must be chosen. Candidates must pay the tuition for the assigned institute using an online payment system as the next stage in the KCET seat allocation process for 2023. They must then show up at the institute to continue the admissions procedure.
Second Choice: If the candidate is content with the seat offered during Karnataka CET counselling round 1 but still wants to take part in the subsequent rounds, they must select the second choice, Acceptance and Further Participation. During option entry, candidates will be required to pick a new course or college for the next round. The previously allocated seat will be deleted if a higher seat is allocated in the following round of KCET seat allocation in 2023.
Third Choice: Candidates who are dissatisfied with the seat given in the current round and intend to participate in the next round must choose option three, “Unsatisfied and Further Participation.” Such candidates are not required to alter the options they choose at the time of the KCET option entry date in 2023.
Fourth Choice: Candidates must choose the fourth option, “Unsatisfied and Quitting,” if they are not happy with the seat they were offered as part of the KCET counselling process or do not want to move on to the next phase. Therefore, the assigned seat shall be revoked and his eligibility to take part in subsequent rounds of Karnataka CET counselling shall be void.
