The second round seat allocation results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 counselling have been delayed for tomorrow, September 6, after 8 pm by the Karnataka Examination Authority. Candidates will be able to check the results on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, for the engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary and b-pharmacy programmes that were allotted in round 2.
The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG second round of counselling announced that candidates assigned medical seats will not be taken into consideration for seat allocation under the KCET 2023 counselling.
KEA in an official notice said, “Seat allotment results for UGCET 2023 (engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy, BSc nursing) courses will be published on September 6, 2023 after 8 pm.”

- Affidavit of the candidate, duly sworn in, claiming eligibility under clauses C and D of the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga laws (relating to mother tongue).
Prior to the seat allocation process for KCET 2023, applicants who have been assigned dental seats must revoke their seats, the KEA added. Only after that will the candidate be taken into consideration for the UGCET 2023’s second round, it stated.
Earlier, today, September 5, was the deadline for the release of the seat allocation results for the KCET 2023 and the Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2023.

Ans. Yes, even if they have seats reserved, you may still take part in the KCET counselling process. Candidates who have been assigned seats may select the float or sliding option during login. You can use the slides option if you want to enrol in a different course at the same college. However, applicants must flog an alternative if they wish to upgrade in the college they have been assigned. After seat allocation, candidates who select the “freeze” option are not permitted to participate in subsequent counselling sessions.
Q. If I don’t pay the KCET seat confirmation costs, what will happen?
Ans. seat acceptance fee must be paid in order to accept a seat offered during KCET counselling. The seat will be forfeited if any candidate fails to pay the seat confirmation fee by the deadline. Following the final payment of the price, applicants cannot reclaim the assigned seat. It is essential that candidates maintain track of all the dates associated with the KCET counselling in 2023. Online payment is required for the KCET’s seat confirmation fee. However, the entire price must be paid when you physically report to the designated Institute.
