Karnataka NEET UG 2023 Opens registration window; counselling begins; last date by July 21

The online registration process for UGNEET counselling has begun, according to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The deadline for fee-paid candidates to finish the online application submission process is July 21.

The UG medical aspirants who have taken the Karnataka UG CET 2023 will need to register first and then appear for the KEA UG NEET document verification with all original documents.

Candidates can register and apply online for admission to the state quota seats at medical colleges at kea.kar.nic.in. The deadline for fee-paid candidates to finish the online application submission process is July 21.

In order to conduct the verification for MBBS and BDS admission, candidates will need to present a number of papers, including admit cards and pass certificates. A valid identity card as well as the KEA UGNEET application printout, the verification slip, and the UG NEET 2023 score card will be needed.

The registration cost is Rs. 500 for applicants from Karnataka who are SC, ST, Cat-1, PWD, GM/2A/2B/3A/3B, and Rs. 2500 for candidates from outside Karnataka. Rs. 5,500 for candidates who are NRI Ward/NRI/OCI/PIO/foreign nationals.

The payment of fees must be made using a credit card, a debit card provided by an Indian bank, internet banking, or a bank challan that has been downloaded.

According to a KEA release, candidates from Karnataka who have been assigned ranks in UGCET 2023 and finished the document verification process, as well as those who are not demanding any further reservations, do not need to show up for document verification again for medical and related courses.

However, it noted, if any of these candidates are qualified to request a reservation, they must do so in the online application form and show up for document verification with the necessary certifications and documentation.

Who is eligible for the NEET State Quota in Karnataka?

Candidate (He or she) must have graduated from a Karnataka-based school with a Class 10 and Class 12 diploma. Additionally, he or she must have completed seven years of study at a government school in Karnataka. He or she must have graduated from a Karnataka-based school with a Class 11 and Class 12 diploma.
