Karnataka NEET PG, MDS 2023: Round-1 Schedule Released, Seat Matrix, Fee Structure To be Out Today

The first round of NEET PG and MDS counseling has been issued by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates can now exercise their priority options between August 22 and August 25. Today, August 21, the seat matrix and fee schedule will be made public.
Candidates must visit the official website, kea.kar.nic.in, at least twice daily to check for developments on Karnataka NEET PG and MDS counselling, according to KEA.

According to KEA, the authority maintains the right to revoke any admission made at any moment that does not adhere to the eligibility requirements or rules established from time to time by the competent authority. There won’t be any personal protests against the NEET PG and MDS seat allocations.
Between August 22 and August 25, candidates who qualify for option entry versus PG medical and dental seats may do so at 11 a.m. On August 25, the results of the Karnataka NEET PG and MDS mock allocation will be released.
Candidates have until August 28 to adjust any provisional options, including adding, deleting, updating, reordering, and changing the selections. On August 28, the results of the first round of genuine allotment will be announced.
Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023: Eligibility Requirements
Candidates are recommended to review the eligibility requirements established by the KEA before registering for Karnataka PG medical counselling in 2023. The Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2023 application form alone does not ensure seat allocation. The following are the eligibility requirements for admission through Karnataka NEET PG 2023 counselling:
General Standards (Important to All)
- He or she needs to be a NEET PG 2023 graduate.
- He or she must hold an MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institution.
- By April 31, 2023, he or she must have completed the required rotating internship.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants to Government Positions
The candidate must meet the aforementioned requirements in addition to having graduated from an accredited MBBS programme in Karnataka. Candidates can also register for the Karnataka NEET PG counselling if they received their MBBS degree from an institution outside of Karnataka but had spent 10 years of their education there, including class X or XII.
Steps for Entry into the Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023 Option:
- Step 1: Enter your introductory data to access the option entry.
- Step 2: Plan and rank your selections. Write down several combinations of colleges and courses, then discuss them with Karnataka NEET PG counselling specialists.
- Step 3: From the list of available courses and colleges, provide the priority order number.
- Step 4: Click ‘Submit’ to finish entering your selections and log out.
- A later date will be given for choice locking, fee payment, document verification, and submission. Later notice will be given regarding the last day to report to the designated medical and dental college.
NEET PG: Admissions Process for Karnataka
An applicant must take the following actions if they are happy with the college they were assigned during the KEA PGET Counselling Process:
- Step 1: Perform a biometric verification.
- Step 2: Submit the required fees.
- Step 3: Submit the necessary paperwork.
- Obtain the admission order in step 4
- Report to the designated college in Step 5
Candidates must sign on to the KEA website after reporting to their assigned college and notify KEA that they have done so. Even if a student has physically enrolled at the college, their seat would be forfeited if they fail to report to KEA. Candidates can use a bank challan, net banking, NEFT, or any other challan to pay their college tuition.
Karnataka NEET PG: First-Round Counselling
In the first round of counselling, the candidates are allotted seats based on the seat matrix issued by the Government and the choices filled by the candidates.
Option 1: Candidates who are given seats have the option of declining to take part in the remaining KEA PGET counselling sessions. Candidates must submit their biometrics for verification after selecting Option 1, pay the associated costs, and submit the necessary paperwork to the college that has been assigned to them. Following that, candidates must report to KEA.
Option 2: Candidates who are given seats have the option to continue in the remaining KEA PGET counselling sessions if they so choose. If an applicant chooses Option 2, they must still pay the required cost, submit to biometric verification, and wait until the following round of counselling.
