The registration period for the Karnataka National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG counselling 2023 has been extended by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

On the official KEA website, kea.kar.nic.in, eligible candidates may register for the Karnataka PG medical and dental counselling 2023 through August 13 at 6 p.m.

Candidates who passed the PG NEET 2023 or NEET MDS exam but were unable to register in KEA may do so starting at 2:00 p.m. today by registering online, submitting an application, and making payment.

Candidates can register even if they have registered but have not finished the application.

The authority issued a formal statement, which read, “For admissions to PG Medical and PG Dental courses, frequent opportunities were given to register and apply online for PGET-2023 from 26-07-2023 to 31-07-2023 and from 02-08-2023 to 03-08-2023. But still on the request of the PGNEET qualified candidates and in the interest of the student community, a final chance is given once again to register and to apply online to become eligible for PG Medical and PG Dental admissions 2023 in the state of Karnataka as per the eligibility criteria.”

Additionally, in accordance with a notice from the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the authority has issued the PG NEET cutoff for the session 2023. In the general category, the cutoff is 291; for applicants from Karnataka who fall under the SC or ST category, it is 257. The cutoff for the general category of NEET MDS 2023 is 272, while the cutoff for candidates from Karnataka who fall under the SC and ST categories is 238.

Candidates who register as of right now must show up for offline document verification on the dates indicated by KEA with all original documents. The administration has recommended the applicants to finish the registration and application procedures before the deadline as there would be no additional extensions.d,

KEA further added, “ Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Hence, in the NEET-PG 2023 / NEET MDS 2023 examination, if they have scored the required minimum 50th percentile or above, fixed for the ‘GENERAL (UR)’ category as per the qualifying criteria, then only they are eligible to register for admissions through KEA in the State of Karnataka.”
