Qualification Details
Candidates applying for the Civil Judge post must fulfill the following criteria:
Direct Recruitment:
- Must hold a Degree in Law from a recognized university in India.
- Must have enrolled as an Advocate.
- Maximum Age:
- 40 years for SC/ST and Category-I candidates.
- 38 years for Category II(A), II(B), III(A), and III(B) candidates.
- 35 years for General category candidates.
- Ex-servicemen get an additional relaxation of 3 years.
In-service Candidates:
- Must be working in the High Court of Karnataka or the District Judiciary under the High Court’s jurisdiction.
