Joint degree agreement between Mahindra University & La Trobe in BTech civil engineering

The students of Mahindra University pursuing civil engineering can now avail the opportunity to do UG at La Trobe University, Melbourne. To complete the last two years of the degree an agreement was signed between Mahindra University and La Trobe, to offer a dual degree in BTech Civil Engineering.
The La Trobe University, Melbourne located in Australia. The university in Australia will provide wide exposure to the students in their international academic structure. The university states that it will contribute to the course that is offered to the students of the Civil Engineering program.
The civil department of La Trobe University works on several other infrastructure projects, including machine learning for structural engineering, water, transportation, construction materials, etc.
The Bachelor of civil engineering (honors) is accredited by Engineers Australia (EA).
Vice-chancellor of Mahindra University, Yajulu Medury, said: “The association between both the universities indicates our commitment to providing world-class quality education including international exposure to our students. We believe that this initiative will prepare our students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.”
The statement also reads, “The agreement signed between the two universities portrays an experiment to foster international collaboration, and promote quality education at the global scale.”
