Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2023: Applications are Now Open!

Joint CSIR-UGC Net examination December 2023: On November 2^, 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the registration application form for joint CSIR-UGC NET exams will be held in December. The last date to submit application forms is November 30, 2023 up to 05:00 p.m. so the Interested candidates can apply through the link csirnet.nta.ac.in. 

CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test exams will begin on December 26, 27, and 28, 2023. The exams will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The medium of the test is both Hindi and English, and the duration for the same is 180 minutes (3 hours). The papers would be based on objective questions and multiple choice options.

There are a Total of Five Test Papers in the CSIR UGC NET Exam

• Chemical science.
• Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences.
• Life Sciences.
• Mathematical sciences.
• Physical Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for CSIR UGC NET examination

Applicants from BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/should have Four years of bachelor’s degree. With a minimum of 55% marks for General /General-EWS and OBC. And up to 50% for SC/ST, Third gender, and PwD categories.

There is no upper age limit for the CSIR NET exam for lectureship (LS) or assistant professorship. However, candidates must not be above the age of 28 years as of 1 July 2022. Category-wise age relaxation is also provided, so make sure to check that carefully. Candidates from the third gender category are also eligible to have the same relaxation as those of the economically weaker section in fee, age, and eligibility criteria for the exam.

1. Open the official website of CSIR National Testing Agency at https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/.
2. Click on the “Application form for CSIR NET December 2023” section.
3. Input your basic details and educational qualifications correctly.
4. Upload a recent photograph, your signature, and other required documents.
5. Go to the payment section and then pay the application fee via available payment methods such as debit or credit card.
6. After the successful fee payment, recheck your application to make sure all the details are correct. And then click on the submit button.
