The registration date for the Class 6 entrance exam has been extended by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The JNV selection test Class 6 application period, which was originally set to finish tomorrow, August 10, will instead end on August 17.

Students will have an additional week to register and complete the Class 6 NVS application.

According to an announcement on navodaya.gov.in, the deadline to submit an online application for the class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2024 has been extended to August 17, 2023.

How to apply for NVS Registration Class 6 in 2024

To register for the JNVST Class 6 exam, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Go to navodaya.gov.in, the official website.
  • Step 2: Select the ‘NVS class VI registration’ link on the homepage.
  • Complete the registration process in step three.
  • Step 4: Complete the JNVST Class 6 application.
  • Pay the application fees in step 5 and submit.
  • Step 6: Save a printout of the confirmation page and download it for later use.

Students can get the JNVST Class 6 application form on the samiti’s official website at navodaya.gov.in. Dates for the JNVST Class 6 test have not yet been released.

An applicant may only submit one application for the JNVST. The student’s application will be rejected if it is discovered during the registration data verification that the candidate already applied.

Necessary Documents

Before beginning to fill out the JNVST 2024 application form in JPG Format only, please have the following scanned copies ready.

  • Signature of the candidate
  • Signature of the parent
  • Candidate’s picture
  • Certificate signed by the candidate’s father and validated by the school’s headmaster
  • Residence If the candidate does not have an Aadhaar number, a competent government authority will provide a certificate for the parent.
