Jharkhand NEET UG counseling 2023: Registration process begins for MBBS, BDS, BHMS ; eligibility criteria, fees & more

The registration period for the NEET UG counselling procedure for the MBBS, BDS, and BHMS seats at the state’s medical, dental, and ayurvedic colleges has been launched by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The official application site for interested candidates is jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) score 2023 will be used as the basis for the Jharkhand NEET UG counselling process. Beginning on July 25 and running through July 29, the online application procedure.
According to the schedule, candidates will have until 3 PM on July 30 to make changes to their applications, and the merit list will be made public on July 31.

Candidates from the general population, the economically disadvantaged sections (EWS), and the OBC must pay a Rs. 500 application fee. Candidates from all categories who are female and from the SC and ST groups must pay a Rs. 250 application fee.
‘Divyang’ candidates will not be charged an application fee. Along with other necessary papers, aspirants must upload their NEET (UG) 2023 score card to the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
The candidates must reside locally in Jharkhand, and throughout the counselling procedure, they must present a “local resident certificate” given by an appropriate official at the designated institute.
According to the eligibility requirements, applicants in the general category must have received at least 50% in physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology in the qualifying test as specified in the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India regulations.
The qualifying examination must have yielded an average score of at least 40% for candidates who identify as SC, ST, or OBC.

- passport-sized photos, preferably the same ones that will be put on the NEET 2023 admission card.
