Indian Students Shine With Gold and Silver Medals At International Physics Olympiad 2023

Indian students have secured a remarkable achievement at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), 2023, hosted in Tokyo, Japan from July 10 to July 17, 2023. The Indian team, consisting of five male students, has accomplished an outstanding feat by winning three gold medals and two silver medals. Aditya, hailing from Pitampura in Delhi, Dhruv Shah from Pune, and Mehul Borad from Kachiguda in Telangana, all received well-deserved gold medals. Raghav Goyal from Chandigarh and Rhythm Kedia from Raipur in Chhattisgarh showcased their brilliance by earning silver medals each.
The leadership of this year’s Indian team at the International Physics Olympiad consisted of two individuals from India, namely Prof. Arun V Kulkarni, a professor at BITS Pilani, Goa, and Dr. Shirish Pathare from HBCSE, TIFR. Additionally, the team had two Scientific Observers, namely Prof. Anwesh Mazumdar from HBCSE, Mumbai, and Dr. Leena Joshi from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
