Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Stenographer Grade I post:
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Candidates must be holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government.
- They should either:
- Hold an analogous post on a regular basis in their current cadre/department, OR
- Have 10 years of regular service in Pay Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100) or equivalent.
2. Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as of the closing date of application submission.
3. Other Conditions
- Departmental officers in the feeder category (direct line of promotion) are not eligible for deputation.
- Officials working as Stenographer Grade I or Grade II in the Income Tax Department are not eligible.
