Inaugural Ceremony of Blitzschlag 2025 at MNIT Jaipur

Blitzschlag 2025, the annual cultural fest of Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur was inaugurated on February 6, 2025 at 5.30 pm at SAC Lawn in VLTC by the chief guest Prof. N. P. Padhy, Director & Chairman (I/C), Board of Governors, MNIT Jaipur. This marked the beginning of a grand three days long celebration of art, culture, creativity, and entertainment from February 7 to 9, 2025. This year’s theme of the student organized fest is “Dreamscape” which symbolizes creativity, imagination, and endless possibilities.

The inaugural function started with extending a warm welcome to the dignitaries & guests followed by a lamp lighting ceremony to invoke the divinity for blessings and auspiciousness. Then the Ribbon cutting ceremony was organized to finally officiate Blitzschlag’25. A brief about the fest was presented next by Dr. Meenakshi Tripathi, Associate Dean of Student Welfare, MNIT Jaipur, she explained that MNIT Jaipur is expecting a staggering footfall of over 50,000 spectators from across the country.

Prof. Kanupriya Sachdev, Dean of Student Welfare, described that the festival will feature three Pro-Nights, where the audience will witness spectacular performances by ‘Zikr – The Band’, DJ Vaibhav, and Bollywood’s famous musician and singer, Vishal Mishra. She added that over the years, Blitzschlag has hosted legendary artists like Armaan Malik, Sachin-Jigar, Javed Ali, Ankit Tiwari, Shaan, KK, and many more, leaving the audience mesmerized each time.

Director, Prof. N.P. Padhy in his address congratulated and encouraged the organizing team for their excellent coordination and efforts behind the colossal arrangement. He emphasized the importance of art and culture and the need of nurturing it besides the regular curriculum.

The cake cutting ceremony was followed by a movie screening of Blitzschlag 2025 to highlight the upcoming events and the day wise schedule was also then presented to the audience. Next, a graceful cultural performance was staged to set the ambience of the festivities ahead. The esteemed dignitaries were then felicitated with mementos and a vote of thanks was presented by the president of the Creative Arts and Cultural Society, MNIT Jaipur. The inauguration ceremony concluded with elevated spirits to celebrate art, culture, and creativity, promising to bring together talent and enthusiasm from across the country.
