IMD orange alert Amid severe rain today, schools in these states will be closed consecutively the second day

The remark was issued by the district collector, Venkataraj, who urged citizens to exercise caution and adhere to safety precautions during this time of increased rains. Other factors, besides the recent severe rain, have caused some Indian states to close their schools today.
Maharashtra: Heavy rains are causing problems for the state of Maharashtra, particularly in some areas of the Raigad district. The Raigad district collector has declared a holiday for all schools and institutions today in response to the IMD’s orange signal for the area.
This choice seeks to reduce the risk that the unfavourable weather circumstances pose.
Kerala: On July 25, schools in the districts of Kannur, Wayanad, Malappuram, and Kozhikode will be closed. The administration made this choice taking into account the frequent rain in these districts.
Arunachal Pradesh: Due to a conjunctivitis outbreak, Longding district schools in Arunachal Pradesh will be closed till July 29. The action is made to stop the infection’s spread and protect the staff’s and pupils’ health.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh: In addition, leaders of the CPI and the All India Students’ Federation (AISF) have declared today a vacation for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh’s educational institutions. The student unions are protesting against educational sector abuses and calling for better hostel amenities and lower mess fees. They also ask the government to help them fill open positions for wardens, cooks, and watchmen at the hostels.
