The new eMasters degree in Data Science and Business Analytics has been launched by the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering at IIT Kanpur to assist professionals in maximising their potential and building future-proof professions.
A new eMasters degree programme in Data Science and Business Analytics has been introduced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. The course offers a thorough conceptual grasp of data mining and analytical methods for both descriptive and predictive analysis. Candidates can submit applications for the January 2023 batches until December 4, 2022. Candidates must go to the official website, emasters.iitk.ac.in/data-science-and-business-analytics, to submit an online application.
Professionals can apply without having a GATE score, and doing so will help them gain proficiency in the cutting-edge data science technologies needed for business analytics. Additionally, it will get ready-to-use applications of data science for strategic business choices.
Professionals have the option to complete the executive-friendly curriculum in one to three years. This 60-credit, 12-module programme is industry-focused and will be taught by specialists from IIT Kanpur’s departments of industrial and management engineering, mathematics, and computer science and engineering. These also provide the option for credits to be transferred, allowing up to 60 credits to be waived for higher study (MTech or PhD) at IIT Kanpur.
Live interactive sessions on the weekends are used to teach the high-impact format in addition to self-paced learning. Professionals have access to the IIT Kanpur placement cell, incubation centre, and alumni network, all of which aid in the development of a strong professional network.
