New Delhi: The 8th India Water Impact Summit was held under the joint aegis of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and the Center for Ganga River Basin Management and Studies (cGanga) at IIT Kanpur. Shri Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Mrhgovgh; and Mr. Igor Papič, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Republic of Slovenia inaugurated in IIT Kanpur.
The main theme of this summit was to look over the welfare of Land, Water, and Rivers. This event was performed successfully and brought together the stakeholders, experts, and government representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities in India’s water sector.
What is the 8th India Water Impact Summit?
In this 8th India Water Impact Summit the discussions was on the theme of “Samarth Ganga and Productive Land” which highlighted the inter-dependability of Land and Rivers and the Lifestyle for Rivers” in the context of the ongoing national initiative of Lifestyle for local people.
As we all know the people who live in the site of Ganga River are fully dependent on for there daily basis and it also has a bad impact on the environment and the nation.
