According to IIT Jammu
“Sponsored by MSME GoI, the Advanced E-SDP Program on “Bio Entrepreneurship to Empower India” Concludes at IIT Jammu. Experts from CSIR-IIIM, CSIR-IHBT, SKUAST Jammu, and IIM Jammu talked about bio entrepreneurship, youth entrepreneurship, and the significance of IPR in commercialization”.
IIT Jammu conducted the program Advanced E-SDP Program on “Bio Entrepreneurship to Empower India which was sponsored by MSME GoI.
Bio Entrepreneurship to Empower India-
Bio Entrepreneurship is a priority sector for the Government of India. Therefore, Bioentrepreneurship is the combination of science and entrepreneurship to create a business and also is considered as a strong growth sector that can create jobs and drive economic growth. Bio Entrepreneurship to Empower India involves using scientific ideas to make a profit or biological entities.
Also, the main goal is to create value for stakeholders for the following reasons such as:
- Researching
- Developing
- Commercializing healthcare
- Biomedical innovations
The three pillars of bio entrepreneurship are:
- Adequate financing
- A quality management team
- Access to new technology
