The Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2024 application form has been made available by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. The application form for IIT JAM 2024 is available on the official IIT M website, jam.iitm.ac.in, for qualified applicants. October 13 is the final day to submit an IIT JAM form for 2024.
Students who have earned an undergraduate degree or are enrolled in their last year of an undergraduate course are eligible to apply for the exam. Any applicant may submit an application for JAM 2024. Also eligible are foreign nationals with degrees from India.

- Go to jam2024.iitm.ac.in to access the official webpage.
- To sign up, click the link.
- The JOAPS portal will be redirected to the candidates.
- Enter your basic information to register.
- Complete the application and upload the required papers.
- Select the test materials and submit your application cost.
- Save the form, then print it off for your records.
Documents needed to complete the 2024 IIT JAM Application Form
Candidates needed the following details/documents to complete the IIT JAM form 2024
- Active email ID
- Current mobile number
- an ID with a photo
- (If any) Caste Certificate
- Class 10 and 12 transcripts, as well as a passing grade
- Graduation transcripts
- A coloured passport-sized photo and signature that have been scanned.
Application Fee
- Application fees for IIT JAM 2024 can be paid online.
- Candidates may pay through UPI, debit and credit cards, online banking, and other methods.
- In addition to the necessary variation in the application cost, there is a fee of Rs. 300 for changing the examination cities, test papers, categories, or gender.
- There is no exception to this fee’s non-refundable policy.

IIT JAM 2024: Examination Pattern
The entire 2024 IIT JAM test format is provided below:
- Exam format: The test will be given in an online format.
- Candidates will have three hours to complete the paper.
- The exam will only be administered in English.
- There will be a total of 60 questions in the test.
- There will be seven subjects on the test paper.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions will all be included in the paper.
- The MCQs paper will have questions for one mark, the MSQs portion will have questions worth two marks each, and the NAT section will have questions worth one or two marks each.
- Negative Marking: For incorrect responses to questions carrying one or two marks, a percentage of the total mark will be subtracted. No marks will be subtracted from the MSQs and NAT portion.
