Through a Memorandum of Understanding for dynamic research and teaching collaborations IIT Goa and VJTI Mumbai have officially joined hands of partnership.
The reason behind this partnership:
To bring a significant step towards advanced innovation, and knowledge exchange is the main reason behind this partnership. IIT Goa and VJTI Mumbai are doing really a great innovation as the exchange of knowledge can high up the student’s career in all the way. Both the colleges have come together and this can now give proper leads towards the education, placement, and huge opportunities.
Why IIT Goa and VJTI Mumbai implemented MOU and not others?
MOU which is popularly known as a memorandum of understanding is a nonbinding agreement that will voice up IIT Goa and VJTI Mumbai intentions to take action, and conduct a business transaction. This MOU may further be referred to as a letter of intent (LOI) or memorandum of agreement (MOA).
About the Colleges
IIT Goa- Indian Institute of Technology Goa, popularly known as IIT Goa, has come into functioning from July 2016 in a temporary campus housed at Goa Engineering College. The main motto of IIT Goa is “Vidya Vinayena Deepyate” which means a vision is to develop students’ critical thinking, scientific temperament and open-mindedness. IIT Goa is an autonomous public university and the Central Government has allotted IIT in the year 2014.
VJTI Mumbai- Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is mostly known as VJTI Mumbai which is a state-funded college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The very good thing about this college is that it is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia. VJTI Mumbai was established in 1887 and is also popularly known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute.
