Mumbai : ATMAN 2.0 event dedicated for innovators, researchers, and leaders from India’s top institutions to showcase groundbreaking Agri-IoT translational research. The event was hosted by Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT Bombay. It witnessed the participation of deeptech academic researchers from IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU, NIT Warangal, VNIT Nagpur, etc. A total of 20+ deeptech research projects from across the country participated in the expo and the research grant funding pitch fest. The event saw a creation of a corpus of INR 10 Cr. TIH will be funding 7 academic research projects with a grant, alongside providing technical development support and lab-to-market guidance. 10+ Industrialists from Poonawala Fincorp, Tata Communications, Jio, Tata Chemicals, L&T, etc. participated and the event also featured promising Agritech startups.
A promising commitment towards innovation. Prof. Milind Atrey, Deputy Director ART (Academics, Research and Translation), – IIT Bombay, addressed the gathering, followed by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, DST. The inaugural session concluded with the remarks of Dr. Ekta Kapoor, Head – FFT, DST.
