IIT Bombay Announces Launch of GATE JAM 2024 Official Website Run By IIT Madras, Application Portal Likely to Open By September 5

The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024 website has officially launched, according to the GATE-JAM headquarters of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. The exam will be held on February 11, 2024, with IIT Madras serving as the organizing institution this year. On September 5, JAM 2024 registration will open on the official website.

IIT Bombay in a Tweet, Says, “GATE-JAM office, IIT Bombay Announces the Launch of the Joint Admission test for Masters 2024 Website https://jam.iitb.ac.in by IIT Madras. Application Portal are Expected to Open by 5th Sept 2023. All Eligible Students and Other Aspirants are Encouraged to Apply.”

For the seven test papers in JAM 2024,

which include Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH), there will be two sessions: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. There will be multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-selection (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions on the exam.

Candidates are eligible to apply if they hold an undergraduate degree or are enrolled in their last year of an undergraduate programme, according to the JAM 2024 eligibility requirements. Indian degree holders from abroad are also eligible to apply.

The results of JAM 2024 will be released on March 24, 2024. Students will be admitted to the MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MSc (Research), Joint MSc-PhD, and MSc-PhD Dual Degree programmes based on their JAM scores.

The scores will be used for admissions by the IITs, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIEST Shibpur, and Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET).
