Director of IIT BHU (Varanasi) Prof Amit Patra took charge as acting director of IIT Kharagpur, a spokesperson of the institute said here on Thursday. Patra, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, will discharge his responsibility here till the regular incumbent takes over or till further orders.
