IIM Bodh Gaya launches MBA programmes in Hospital, Digital Business Management

IIM Bodh Gaya
Two new programmes were introduced by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya on January 12th. Dr. Vinita Sahay, director of IIM Bodh Gaya, officially opened the event. The MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management and the MBA in Digital Business Management are two of the two full-time, residential MBA programmes. The first session for both programmes will start in the final week of June of the following academic year 2023–2024.
Hospital Administration
The MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management programme will adhere to a curriculum and a teaching approach that will address the constantly expanding need for professionally trained human resources to assume managerial and leadership roles across various healthcare industry verticals, including hospitals, health insurance, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, as well as IT and consulting. The school will offer two different concentrations in hospital management and healthcare management, according to the newspaper. Through internships and final projects in rural areas, it will thereafter expose students to both private and public health systems. Senior executives from well-known companies such as Apollo Hospitals, Biocon Biologics, Novartis, DoctCo, and Coforge are represented on the Industry Advisory Board for the initiative.
Management of digital businesses
The goal of the Digital Business Management programme is to satisfy the demands of Industry 4.0, which are related to the rapid adoption of digital technology. To help pupils develop, experts in the relevant sector will be enlisted to offer lectures. Digital Marketing and Business Development, Data Analytics and Decision Sciences, Strategy and Consulting, and FinTech are the four specialities that the programme will offer its students. High-end tech industry experts from TCS, Infosys, and IBM will deliver top-notch instruction. Through the four-month industry immersion in both of these courses, students will get practical experience.
Admission process
The application process for both programmes will begin next week, and all qualified CAT 2022 candidates will have 15 days to declare their interest. Before shortlisting the candidates for the next stage, Eol forms will be accepted through the first week of February. The shortlisted individuals will then participate in interviews. The CAT score, PI score, and academic profile rating will be used to create the final admission merit list.
There are a total of 60 seats available for hospital and healthcare management and 90 seats total for an MBA in digital business management.
