IIIT Raichur Announces for PhD Admissions for January 2024: Check details, Eligibility, Important Dates

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Raichur has invited applications for PhD admissions 2024. Candidates can apply for the PhD admissions through the official website, iiitr.ac.in. The registration and application procedure is going on. So candidates need to apply before the deadline.

The institute provide PhD degree in regular, part-time and direct mode for course. The PhD degree is offered in Computer Science and Engineering or Mathematics and Computing courses.

Candidates must visit the official website of IIIT Raichur in order to avoid any kind of hustle. The application form is available in Google Doc format.

Important Dates

• Commencement of registration- Already started.
• Deadline to apply for the PhD Admissions 2024- 20^th November 2023.

Application Fee

• For General (UR) and OBC candidates the application fee is Rs 1000.
• For Female/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates the application fee is Rs 500.

How to apply for the Course

• Visit the official website of IIIT Raichur, iiitr.ac.in.
• You will get an Academic tab. You need to click on Admission.
• Click on Details of Admission process for PhD.
• Find Submission Procedure section.
• Click on the Google form link.
• Fill in the application form.
• Then submit the form.
• Now pay the application fee.

Eligibility

Regular PhD

• General/ OBE( creamy)
• Students should have 7.0 CGPA or more in BE/ B. Tech/ BS/ MCA
• Students should have 7.0 CGPA in ME/ MS/ M. Tech in CS/ EE/ ECA/ IT specializations.
• OBC (Non creamy)
• Students should have 6.5 CGPA or more in BE/ B. Tech/ BS/ MCA
• Students should have 6.5 CGPA in ME/ MS/ M. Tech in CS/ EE/ ECA/ IT specializations.
• SC/ ST
• Students should have 6.0 CGPA or more in BE/ B. Tech/ BS/ MCA
• Students should have 6.0 CGPA in ME/ MS/ M. Tech in CS/ EE/ ECA/ IT specializations.

Direct PhD

• General/ OBC (Creamy) – Students should have passed BE/ B. Tech/ BS with 7.5 CGPA with GATE.
• OBC (non- creamy) –Students should have passed BE/ B. Tech/ BS with 7.0 CGPA with GATE.
• SC/ ST-Students should have passed BE/ B. Tech/ BS with 6.5 CGPA with GATE.

Part- Time PhD

• General/ OBC (creamy)
• Students should have 7.0 CGPA in BE/ B. Tech/ BS/ MCA.
• Students should have 7.0 CGPA or more or 70% in ME/ M. Tech/ MS in CSE/ EE/ ECE/ IT specializations.
• OBE ( non- creamy)
• Students should have 6.5 CGPA in BE/ B. Tech/ BS/ MCA.
• Students should have 6.5 CGPA or more or 70% in ME/ M. Tech/ MS in CSE/ EE/ ECE/ IT specializations.
• SC/ ST
• Students should have 6.0 CGPA in BE/ B. Tech/ BS/ MCA.
• Students should have 6.0 CGPA or more or 70% in ME/ M. Tech/ MS in CSE/ EE/ ECE/ IT specializations.
