“The 2023 IEEE India Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (InGARSS) will be held from December 10 to 13, 2023 at IIIT Bangalore campus”.

Students be ready for being the part of the most awaited program of the year that is InGARSS which is going to be conducted by IIIT Banglore and the best part of is that it will commemence from 10th to 13th december. These event will be conducted in IIIT Bangalore. 

What is InGARSS? 

InGARSS full form is the India Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium which is the flagship regional conference of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) that is organized in India. 

This InGARSS has been run for two years, 2020 and 2021 and was skipped in 2022 because as the flagship conference of GRSS, the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) was held in Region-10, in Malaysia.

The main motive of the InGARSS is that it aims at providing a platform for sharing knowledge and advancements in geoscience and remote sensing technologies, and experience on recent developments particularly in the context of disaster monitoring, relevant to the Indian subcontinent, earth observations, and others.

How is the IIIT Bangalore campus?

IIIT Bangalore campus is located in Electronic City which is the heart of Bangalore’s IT hub. The campus many facilities such as Classrooms with smart boards, 24/7 Wi-Fi, Labs built to global standards, high-speed data networks, LCD projectors and many others. IIIT Bangalore has four main buildings and is about spread in 9 acres.
