IGNOU 2023 session OFFERS PG diploma in environmental studies

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced an environmental study for a postgraduate (PG) diploma. The IGNOU offers a new program for PG diploma students from this academic session. Aspiring candidates can seek admission details of application from the IGNOU official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
This MA Diploma Progame will also allow the lateral entry of the students. The initiative to launch this news program is to generate awareness of the several wide ranges of environmental issues that need to be pondered for a healthy environment.
The IGNOU quips, that, There is a need to produce manpower who are experts in dealing with climate change, pollution, waste management, sanitation, conservation of biological diversity, management of biological resources, etc. It also added, “Environmental challenges generated by anthropogenic activities need to be developed a skilled workforce for the protection and spreading awareness about the sustainable environment.”
The deadline for the re-registration for the July 2023 session has been extended till July 15. Candidates can re-register for the online, online, and distance learning programs by visiting the official website ignou.ac.in.
Earlier, the last date to apply was June 15. Registration for the new course started on May 8. The candidates can log in on the portal by entering their username, password, and captcha code.
Of late, The University has also launched new MSC programs in physics (MSCPH), applied statistics (MSCAST), Geography (MSCGG), and Geo-informatics (MSCGI).
