1. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

• Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years
• Emoluments: ₹56,000 per month + HRA
• Essential Qualification:
  • Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences (Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology).
• Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, virology, and statistical software.

2. Project Technical Support-III

• Number of Posts: 4 (1 UR, 1 SC, 1 ST, 1 OBC)
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years
• Emoluments: ₹28,000 per month + HRA
• Essential Qualification:
  • Three-year graduate degree in Life Sciences with three years of experience OR Postgraduate degree in related fields.
• Desirable Skills:
  • Diagnostic laboratory experience, ELISA, PCR, sequencing, and field data collection.

3. Project Technical Support-I

• Number of Posts: 2 (1 SC, 1 ST)
• Age Limit: Up to 28 years
• Emoluments: ₹18,000 per month + HRA
• Essential Qualification:
  • 10th + Diploma (DMLT) with two years of experience OR Graduate degree in Life Sciences with one year of experience.
• Desirable Skills:
  • Cell culture, diagnostic lab work, and clinical sample collection.

ICMR-NIV Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process

1. Walk-In-Interview and/or Written Test:
   • A written test will be conducted if eligible candidates exceed 30.
   • Topics include relevant subject knowledge, general knowledge, reasoning, and aptitude.
2. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates from the written test will attend a personal interview.
