According to the official notification issued by AMRU, HP, “on the request of the Principal of Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, Kumarhatti, Solan, it was decided that the vacant NRI seats of Private Medical College shall be converted and filled with management quota, unreserved candidates in 3rd round only.”
Eligibility Criteria for HP NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2023

- Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2023 by scoring at or above the cut-off percentile.

Selection Process
The admissions process in Government Medical/Dental Colleges, as well as Private Medical/Dental Colleges (State & Management Quota), shall be completed online within the prescribed time frame by the Common/ Centralised Counselling Committee, which is chaired by the Director Medical Education & Research, H.P. Shimla.
Its members include all of the Principals of Medical/Dental Colleges in Himachal Pradesh, as well as the Joint/Additional Director of the Directorate of Medical Education & Research. The University’s Member Secretary is the Additional/Controller of Examinations.
- Following the NEET State Counselling, the exam conducting authority would create a merit list of the shortlisted candidates for admission.

- If a student fails to report to the designated college within the specified time frame, his or her seat will be forfeited.
