Goa Institute of Management
Students from all across India can enroll in the next “Summer Research Internship Program” at the esteemed Goa Institute of Management to master the fundamentals of academic research. The program’s goal is to prepare highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students for research projects in a range of subjects under the supervision of GIM faculty members.
The GIM faculty will instruct the participating students on the writing processes and working techniques, such as procedures, analysis, generating conclusions, sampling, etc. The vast and intensive curriculum offered by GIM includes a wide range of courses, including Big Data Analytics, Finance & Accounting, General Management & Economics, Healthcare Management, IT & Operation Management, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management.
By providing outstanding students with access to a variety of research experiences and expertise, GIM-SRIP aims to progress them early in their careers. The experienced faculty at the GIM, a research-intensive school, has participated in numerous worldwide research collaborations with organizations like the WHO and Harvard University. The teachers at the institute have also been recognized for their work at prestigious business conferences in India and overseas.
“The Summer Research Internship Program‘s goal is to give participants a glimpse into the world of intense academic research and to acquaint them with the procedure. The whole contribution to the body of knowledge must be made by the upcoming generation of business leaders. That hasn’t been the case lately throughout the nation. We don’t often see grand theories, original concepts, or products originating from India, and that needs to change. We have a very long way to go, but the research culture has clearly improved,” says Dr. Ajit Parulekar, Director of GIM.
The students will be provided with free housing and meals at GIM during the eight-week programme, which will run from the second week of April to the third week of June. The deadline for submission of applications is February 28, 2023.
