Internship Becomes Mandatory

Focus on Coding and Robotics
The budget allocates ₹19.91 crore for coding and robotics education under the CM-CARES (Coding and Robotics Education in Schools) scheme. The scheme includes:
- Establishment of two centers of excellence
- Proctored test centers in all 12 talukas of Goa
Enhancing E-Learning
To enhance e-learning, the budget includes provisions for:
- Providing one laptop per class in government middle schools
- Upgrading computer laboratories in these institutions
Skill Development Initiatives
The CM skill development scheme includes an accessory kit worth ₹20,000 for students studying:
- Apparels and home furnishing
- Beauty and wellness
- Agriculture
- Automobile courses under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) in higher secondary schools
Infrastructure Development
₹200 crore has been allocated to complete building repairs of all schools before the monsoon season.
