Girls edu report A+ with soaring aspirations and opportunities

IIT-Bombay blazed a trail a few years ago with the introduction of reserved seats for girls. Recently, IIM-Mumbai followed suit. In 2024, this revolution gathered momentum—education became more accessible with the state govt offering a 100% tuition waiver in professional courses for girls from marginalised sections whose annual family income is less than Rs 8 lakh. Propelled by the promise of opportunities and a future unshackled by financial barriers, girls across the state now dream bigger.
