On August 24, IISc Bangalore will begin the GATE 2024 application window. Interested individuals can register for the GATE 2024 exam at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Candidates should be aware that the deadline to register for GATE 2024 is September 29.
Candidates registering online for GATE 2024 would also need to attach a few papers. Included on the list of paperwork needed for registration are information on eligibility, scanned copies of photos, and signatures.
GATE 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the GATE 2024 eligibility requirements in order to sit for the exam. The GATE 2024 qualifying requirements include age, place of residence, and educational background, among many other things. Candidates who meet the requirements to take the GATE exam are eligible.

- Anyone who has finished any government-approved degree programme in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, or the arts and is presently enrolled in their third or higher year of that programme is eligible to sit for the GATE 2024 exam.
- Candidates from nations other than India who have earned or are pursuing their qualifying degree: Must be pursuing or have already earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, architecture, science, the arts, or business, with a length of at least three years.

- Step 2: Complete the GATE 2024 application form using your ID and password.
- Step 3: Add the scanned versions of the required papers.
- Step 4: Submit your application by paying the required payments.

GATE 2024: Required Documents for Application Form
Candidates must have the following documents on hand in order to complete the GATE 2024 registration form.
- High-quality image of the candidate’s photograph complying with the specifications set in the Information Brochure.
- High-quality image of the candidate’s signature complying to the specifications outlined in the Information Brochure.
- A pdf file containing a scanned copy of the category (SC/ST) certificate, if applicable.
- PwD Certificate scanned copy in pdf format (if applicable).
- (If applicable) A scanned copy of the certificate of dyslexia in pdf format.
- Scan a valid photo identification document, such as an Aadhar-UID (preferred), a passport, a PAN card, a voter ID, or a driver’s license.
- The photo ID must include the candidate’s name, birthdate, and special photo ID number. This original photo ID is required to be carried.
