GATE 2024: Registration date to be out soon; see here to know syllabus, exam pattern, cut-offs

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) notification and registration deadline will be made public by the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) soon.
According to historical patterns, the official GATE 2024 website, gate.iitk.ac.in, announces the registration deadline in August. The entrance exam is held for recruitment by several public sector firms as well as admission into the master’s programmes.
The GATE exam was administered in two shifts for 29 papers in February of last year. A candidate may participate in a maximum of two papers. For the second paper, they may select from a list of predefined two-paper combinations.
The question paper will have questions for a total of 100 points, in accordance with the GATE syllabus for 2023. No matter whatever subject the candidates choose, all examinations will have a General Aptitude (GA) section worth 15 points. The subject knowledge will be examined for the remaining 85 points.
Candidates must be aware that they can only submit one application form once GATE 2023 registration opens because multiple registrations will result in rejection with no fee return.
Candidates who achieve at least the required GATE cut-off will be recognised as qualified. The participating universities, however, will publish their own GATE entrance cut-offs to allocate seats.
