Only examination venues in India will administer the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 test. The foreign centres have been discontinued by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

The GATE exam will have 30 papers this year. The exam format hasn’t changed, though.

GATE 2024 will be held in IISc Bangalore on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. Registration for GATE 2024 will probably start on August 24. On its official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in, the institute has provided information about key dates, the exam schedule, eligibility requirements, syllabus, and application fees.

GATE 2024: cities exams

The only locations where GATE 2024 will be held are in India. It won’t be held in locations outside of India. By paying the entire application price (Rs. 1800 per test paper), foreign nationals and Indian residents living abroad may participate in GATE 2024, but they must select testing cities within India.

They are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements in order to attend the exam at the designated location within India, according to IISc’s official website. Candidates must select three places from the same zone from a list of exam cities that the institute has published per zone.

GATE 2024: Registration fees

IISc Bangalore has divided the GATE 2024 registration costs this year into two candidate categories: those for candidates who fall under the female reserved category and those for all other candidates. Additionally, the institute raised the application fee.

CategoryFeesFees during extended period
