The spot round registration for University of Delhi’s UG admissions in 2023 will begin today. To enrol in undergraduate programmes at Delhi University, interested candidates must register by August 30 on the CSAS website, admission.uod.ac.in.
According to the university, students who receive seats in the DU spot round must accept them.
“The admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admissions on the announcement of the spot admission round-1,” DU stated in an official notice.
Candidates for the DU spot round of admission 2023 may select as many courses and DU colleges as they like. However, there won’t be a way to change or upgrade the reserved seats. Candidates who enrolled for seats under the supernumerary quota will be eligible to request for an upgrade.
Application Process: DU Spot Admission 2023
The procedures listed below can be used by applicants to complete the DU UG application form 2023 for spot admission.
- Go to admission.uod.ac.in, the CSAS website for Delhi University.
- When you click on the UG Admission 2023 link, a new window will open at admission.uod.ac.in.
- At this point, click the register link and enter some basic information.
- Check the list of open positions before beginning to fill out the DU application.
- Candidates may present for as many DU colleges and courses as they like.
- Examine your application, then pay the registration charge.
- Save the application confirmation page for later use.
After the three rounds of Delhi institution admissions 2023, the institution will disclose the open seats, and applicants who have not been assigned a place in DU colleges will be eligible to register by August 30. On September 1, the results of the spot round seat allocation for DU UG Admission 2023 will be released.

No Withdrawal or Upgrade Options
Candidates may select as many colleges and courses as they like at the spot round of admission, but they will not be given the chance to withdraw or upgrade, and the seats allotted will be firm. Only candidates who applied for the supernumerary quota seats would have the chance to upgrade.
“The candidate will be required to accept admission to the seat assigned in the first round of spot admission. The candidate will no longer be eligible for admission to UoD if they do not accept the assigned seat during the spot admission round, the university added.
