Delhi University Reschedules Postponed Exams: New Dates Announced for Second-Year Students;

The University of Delhi (DU) has released a notification regarding the rescheduling of exams that were previously postponed due to a flood-like situation in the area. On Monday, the university issued a notification specifically for the second-year examinations of regular students, as well as those studying at the School of Open Learning and the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board.

According to the notification, the theory exams that were originally scheduled for July 17th, 18th, and 19th have now been rescheduled. The new dates for these exams are July 26th, August 1st, and August 2nd. This adjustment in the exam schedule has been made to accommodate the unforeseen circumstances caused by the flood-like situation, ensuring that students have adequate time to prepare and complete their examinations.

It is essential for the affected students to take note of these revised dates and make the necessary adjustments to their study plans accordingly. The practical exams originally scheduled for July 14th, 15th, and 16th have been rescheduled and will now take place on August 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The water level of the Yamuna River, which exceeded the previous record of 207.49 meters last week and surpassed 208 meters on July 12th, continues to remain above the danger mark of 205.33 meters. At 12 noon, the water level in Delhi’s Yamuna River rose to 205.80 meters from 205.58 meters at 9 am. On Sunday night, the water level was recorded at 205.52 meters.
