Delhi University requests department to identify unserviceable electronic items for auctioning

The North and South Campuses of the Delhi University have been urged to identify any unwanted and broken electronics for auction.
In a notice, the university stated that there is a lack of space on both campuses and that these trash items are preventing better use of the available space and rooms.
The Delhi University North and South Campus notification stated that “all faculties, departments, and centres are requested to identify used, worthless, unserviceable electronic and other waste items kept or stored in rooms, staircase area, and outside areas for a long time and make a list of them.”
For information on the procedure for auctioning off waste materials, the departments have been instructed to get in touch with the university’s procurement offices. According to university regulations, “all faculties, departments, and centres must complete the auction of unserviceable items within 30 days and notify the Estate section.”
