CUET UG 2023 marking scheme: Candidate must know how to calculate percentile;

The National Test Agency (NTA) is all set to declare the CUET UG 2023 result. The Candidates who have appeared in the exam may visit the official website, that is cuet.samarth.ac.in. A total no. of 14 lakh applicants have appeared in the second edition of the CUET UG 2023 exam conducted by NTA.

Five marks will be awarded for each correct answer
One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
No marks for the questions that are unanswered or marked for review
Five marks will be awarded to the candidates if found more than one option is correct
If all options are found to be correct then five marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question
Full five marks will be given to all candidates if none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped.
How to calculate CUET 2023 percentile score
The candidates’ raw scores will be converted into percentiles. The percentile score will be given to the candidates concerning the highest raw score obtain in that session. The percentile score can be calculated by giving the formula below:
Percentile score = 100 * No. of candidates who appeared in the session with a raw score equal to less than the candidate with the highest raw score/Total number of candidates who appeared in the session.
Additionally, the answer key for CUET UG was released on July 3. However, candidates have claimed that several answers were given incorrectly. To this, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, UGC chairman, mentioned, ” it has happened due to typographical errors.”
The response from NTA was received after the candidates alleged that NTA is ‘looting’ them by charging Rs 200 per question to challenge the provisional answer key that was released by the NTA.
