CSIR UGC NET cut-off announced for JRF, assistant professor combined session Dec 2022 & June 2023

The rankings and cut-off for the Joint CSIR University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in December 2022 and June 2023 have been made public. On July 25, 2023, NTA released the CSIR UGC NET results. The subject-specific cut-off scores for the CSIR UGC NET 2023 are released.
The CSIR UGC NET cut-off has been made available for junior research fellowships (JRF), lectureships, assistant professorships, and physical, mathematics, and life sciences.
The results for the life science subject have been announced based on the percentile cut-off as mentioned after the raw marks acquired were normalised into an NTA score and percentile.
Only candidates with a bachelor’s degree are eligible for fellowships. Those candidates are distributed between CSIR and UGC in accordance with the number of fellowships shared between the two organisations for each subject, with the exception of candidates with a bachelor’s degree who are assigned to CSIR.
Joint CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor (NET) Dec-22/June-2023 Exam results will be announced on July 29.
For fellowships, lectures, and associate professorships, there is a minimum benchmark of 33% for general, EWS, and OBC categories and 25% for SC, ST, and PwD categories. The Information Bulletin’s criteria shall be considered definitive in the event of any disagreement, it was added.
There is no separate cut-off for parts A, B, and C, the governing body stated when announcing the CSIR UGC NET 2023 cut-off. For the purpose of compiling a merit list, the total score across all components is taken into account.
