Today, the CSAB special round 1 2023 seat allocation results will be made public on the official website, csab.nic.in. For the open positions at various National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and other Government-funded Technical Institutes (GIFTs), the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) is holding special rounds.

The candidates will have to respond to any queries raised by the institute before 5 PM on August 12. The candidates will have to report at the allotted colleges from August 14 to August 21. The seat allotment result of CSAB special round 3 will be declared on August 13.

Candidates who select the “freeze” option consent to the assigned programme and college, but they are still eligible to receive an alternate curriculum and a different institute in later rounds.

The seat granted to those who choose the “surrender” option will not be given to them, but they will be qualified for the CSAB special round 2. The students who select the “withdraw” option consent to give up their assigned seat and forfeit their right to participate in the CSAB special round 2.

Till 3 PM on August 12, applicants may exercise the “surrender” and “withdraw” option.

The ‘exit’ option allows candidates who were not given seats to leave the CSAB counselling procedure. Between August 8 and August 12, the chosen candidates must report online, pay the application fee, upload the necessary documents, and answer any questions.

During CSAB special counselling in 2023, the chosen candidates will be given five options: freeze, slide, float, surrender, and withdraw. Those that choose “freeze” are saying they are happy with the assigned programme and institute. If there is a vacancy at the designated institute in the CSAB special round 2, the “Slide” option will allow the candidates to select a better programme.
