Today, September 29, the Osmania University Directorate of Admissions is scheduled to release the CPGET 2023 phase 1 seat allocation. Through the official website, cpget.ouadmissions.com, students who filed for CPGET phase 1 counselling will be able to see the seat allocation outcome for 2023.

According to the timetable, the shortlisted candidates must report to their respective colleges by October 4, 2023, at the latest. Registrations for the CPGET 2023 phase 2 counselling will open on October 6, 2023.

How to check the seat allocation results for the CPGET Phase 1 Counselling 2023.

Candidates may get the CPGET phase 1 seat allotment result 2023 by following the simple instructions provided below.

Step 1: Go to the Osmania University CPGET counselling website.

Step 2: Select the seat allocation information for CPGET counselling phase 1.

Step 3: Enter your credentials to log in.

Step 4: The seat allocation results for CPGET counselling phase 1 for 2023 will show up on your screen.

Step 5: Download the allocation outcome for further information.

Candidates can view the CPGET phase 1 seat allotment results for 2023 on the official website using their login information, which includes their registration number and date of birth.

Phase 1 Counseling for CPGET 2023: Admissions Documentation Needed

When reporting for the admissions, candidates who received seats in the first round of CPGET counselling must bring the following documentation with them.

  • Grades for classes 10, 12, and a certificate
  • (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Year) Certificate of Qualifying Examination
  • Image of a passport with a signature
  • Certificate of Category (if applicable)
  • parents’ income certification
  • Certificate of Minority
  • Certificate of Special Category Reservation

What will happen when the TS CPGET Seat Allotment Result 2023 is released?

Each person who will be given a seat to get admission for the postgraduate programmes will be able to download the allotment letter after the release of the TS CPGET Seat Allotment Result 2023 by paying the required fee.

After downloading the allotment order, one has to make a print copy on A4 size and carry it to the assigned institution with all required documents on or before 4th October 2023 for confirmation of admission.

TS CPGET: What is it?

In April 2019, Osmania University switched from OUCET to CPGET (Common Postgraduate Entrance Tests). Its current address is tscpget.com.

For admission to different postgraduate, postgraduate diploma, and five-year integrated programmes provided by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru Universities & its associated institutions in Telangana state, Osmania University conducts the CPGET exam. Admission to M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MCJ, BLISc, MLISc, MSW, M.Ed, and M.P.Ed degree programmes is granted by the test.

OUCET (CPGET) 2023 Qualifications

The following qualifying requirements must be met by the applicant in order to be considered for admission to Osmania University:

Identity and Residence

  • The applicant needs to be of Indian descent.
  • Only residents of Telangana state may apply.
  • Candidates must meet both the local and nonlocal requirements.

Educational Background

Candidates must have earned a B.S.C. or B.A similar test will have an overall passing percentage of at least 40%.

Candidates who passed the qualifying exam for SC/ST and received at least 40% of their total marks in the Bachelor’s degree examination with compartment are also qualified.

Maximum Age

  • Age restrictions do not apply to CET (Self Financing).
  • For SC/ST and BC, the maximum age to be eligible for a fee reimbursement is 34 years old.
  • The maximum age for EBC, minorities, and disabled people is 30.

OUCET (CPGET) Seat Reservation for 2023

The OUCET (CPGET) Seat Allotment Reservation is as follows:

  • Aspirants, both local and not local
  • Subject to various reservations and communities in effect, local candidates are guaranteed 85% of the available seats in the seat matrix.
  • Aspirants from inside and outside of the local area may apply for the 15% remaining slots.
