Corrections to the GATE 2023 application form will begin tomorrow, here’s what you need to know

NOTE – The GATE 2023 application form correction window will be available tomorrow at gate.iitk.ac.in, according to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. The GATE 2023 rectification window will be open through November 11th. Candidates must use their enrolment ID/email address and password to make modifications to the GATE 2022 form.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level exam that assesses students’ overall mastery of several undergraduate topics in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts. The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will organize the GATE 2023 computer-based test (CBT). IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee) will administer the test on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI).
A qualified GATE score can be used to apply for admission and/or financial aid to:
(i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts
(ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies. GATE score is also used by some colleges and institutions for giving admission to students without MoE scholarships/assistantships.
Furthermore, several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) use the GATE score in their hiring procedure.
Applicants who input inaccurate information on the GATE 2023 form can change their information during this period. To modify their data in the IIT Kanpur GATE application form 2023, candidates may go to the GATE 2023 official website.
Here’s how you can edit the GATE 2023 Application Form
- Go to gate.iitk.ac.in to access the GATE 2023 website.
- Choose the option “GATE 2023 modification.”
- Logging in using the GATE 2023 form requires the enrolment ID/email address and password.
- Make any necessary modifications to the needed fields after successfully login in.
- Then click the “Submit” button.
